The first event in the Wineglass Race Series, the Wineglass 8K is traditionally held the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. A great way to kick off the summer. The Wineglass 8K is the first race in the Riesling and Pinot Challenges. The 8K (4.97) is a flat course that starts and finishes on the Corning-Painted Post High School Track

Yes, if we haven't sold out. Race day registration is open 6:30-7:30 am at the Corning War Memorial Stadium. The race starts at 8:00 am. You can also register at bib pick up Friday, May 24th from 12:00-6:00 pm at the Corning Information Center, 1 W. Market St., Corning.

No. Wineglass 8K registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable to another runner or other Wineglass Race Series event.
There is plenty of parking at the Corning-Painted Post High School, or the Corning YMCA.
Yes, but all runners with strollers MUST start at the back of the pack.
Yes, we do allow walkers in the race.
Runners and walkers will have 2 hours to finish the race.
No, dogs are not allowed in the race.
We strongly discourage the wearing of music devices. Participants must be alert to their surroundings and able to hear medical emergency vehicles, official race vehicles and the bike support team. For your safety and the safety of those around you, we strongly urge you to run headphone-free.
The course has one water station in Denison Park, which you will run past twice.
